Dr. Sergey Sayapin Areas of International and Criminal Law
Dr. Sergey Sayapin teaches and researches in the areas of international and criminal law, and is among Central Asia’s leading experts on international conflict and security law. In 2000 - 2014, he worked in the Communication Department at the Regional Delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Central Asia. Dr. Sayapin regularly advises the ICRC, UNODC and Central Asian States’ authorities on international law issues, and appears in national and international mass media. Dr. Sayapin is the founding Editor-in-Chief of the Central Asian Yearbook of International Law and International Relations (Eleven), and sub-editor for Central Asia of the Encyclopedia of Public International Law in Asia (Brill)
